Insulating Fire Brick (IFB)

Insulating fire bricks are manufactured using high purity refractory clays and selected organic fillers that burn out during the manufacturing process to ensure the brick exhibits a controlled and uniform pore structure.

IFB’s have excellent thermal shock resistance, are lightweight and produced to tight tolerances ensuring that they can be laid quickly and easily.

Insulating fire bricks also have high insulating characteristics, good compressive strength, low heat storage properties and low impurity levels.
